Offering a new dimension in cryogenic shotblast applications DIEBLAST GREEN media is manufactured from 100% recycled polymers, molecular bonded to produce low temperature mechanical properties exceeding that of conventional polycarbonate based systems. Developments in polymer engineering have enabled the re-use of, post consumer, water bottle waste to be crosslinked with high performance flouropolymers such as P.T.F.E. The resulting co-polymer combines the high impact and abrasion resistance of polycarbonate with the cryogenic properties of flouropolymer. The tough, durable blast media DIEBLAST GREEN is ideally suited for the defashing of rubber and rubber/metal bonded components at sub-zero temperatures down to -140°C with reduced media breakdown rates and higher impact strengths than standard polycarbonate blast systems.
